Clusters of lavender-blue, star-shaped blooms are held on tall stems from thick clumps of strap-shaped foliage for many weeks in mid to late spring.  flowers are also excellent in vases and bouquets, with strong stems lasting up to 2 weeks in a vase.camassia leichtlinii subsp. Suksdorfii 'caerulea' is beneficially deer and rabbit resistant and prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil which sits in either full sun or partial shade.
