Pure white, trumpet-shaped blooms open, clustered atop tall, strong stems, to create large almost spherical flowerheads. A florist's favourite, adding elegant drama to indoor floral arrangements. Growing to around 1m tall and wide, the grey-green, strap-shaped foliage forms attractive clumps which make wonderful weed-suppressing groundcover.all agapanthus look fantastic when grown in containers which also makes it easier to protect them against frosts as they can be moved to a warmer area. Agapanthus arctic star is one of the hardiest of the family. In warmer areas the foliage may stay, but in colder winters, the attractive foliage dies back, becoming dormant, in readiness to sprout again in the spring with renewed vigour.given the award of garden merit for outstanding garden performance, agapanthus arctic star prefers to be grown in a sunny location, in well-drained soil. With a hardiness rating of h4, protection will only be required if temperatures dip below -10 c. Supplied in 9cm pots.
