Salix ‘flamingo’ nishiki is a deciduous standard willow grown for its variegated foliage and coloured stems. Supplied as 2 standard trees approximately 3–4ft tall in 3/5 litre pots, with established root systems, suitable for planting and continued growth. This variety produces cream and green variegated leaves with a pink flush in spring. Bright pink stems provide additional interest during winter and early spring.

"I was very disappointed with the quality of the Salix trees I sent for. One of them had a slit in the stem and it was crawling with Ants. I did spray it with Ant powder and got rid of the Ants. I was going to give one to my Granddaughter as she is just moving into her first home. But the leaves have just all gone brown and it is dead. I have still got the tree if you would like me to send you pictures of it. I have the Express newspaper every day and was thinking about ordering a Shed for the garden but I am a full time carer to my Husband who will be 90 years old at the end of the month but I don’t know what the quality of them is or how easy they are to assemble. So will have to give it some thought. Many thanks. Mrs E Stacey."
