An evergreen oak tree, that is originally from the mediterranean but has naturalized in the uk, is a wonderful addition to the garden with its all year round glossy, dark-green foliage similar to that of a holly tree. Yellow catkins are born in abundance in early spring followed by acorns that are green when young maturing to dark-red brown. It makes a great tree for windbreaks and hedging and is perfect for coastal settings. It will tolerate most soil types. You will receive 1 very healthy large plant growing in a 3 litre pot and is approx 30-40cm tall and bushy.
