The chaenomeles crimson & gold japanese quince, is a beautiful variety of chaenomeles, a brilliant shrub to have within any garden, produces spring blooms of showy, cup-shaped, crimson flowers amongst glossy, ovate medium green leaves then followed by aromatic, golden fruits ripening to yellow. The fruits are edible when cooked, ideal for preserves and jellies. The growth habit of this magnificent shrub is compact, bushy and spreading. A very tough, fully hardy easy to grow shrub which can grow to approx 3-4ft tall. You will receive 1 very healthy plant growing in a 9cm pot and is approx 20-30cm tall.
