This makes this plant an ideal gift for a birthday, housewarming or wedding. The pachira is a true tropical plant. It is native to the swamps of eastern brazil, panama and costa rica. Here the plant can grow up to 20 meters high.

In summer, the plant will need watering about 2 times a week.
