The salix flamingo is a beautiful, deciduous willow from japan. It has a striking appearance due to the gorgeous white-pink colour of the leaves in spring which makes it looks like the plant is flowering! Even after losing its leaves during the autumn, the branches of the salix will continue stealing the show thanks to its striking bright orange color. The salix flamingo makes sure your garden is colourful all year round.

Caresalix flamingo is a hardy plant that can withstand up to -15°c. It can grow up to 3 meters high and two meters wide. It is recommended to prune the salix every year in march to maintain the compact full shrub. This will also ensure that the new leaves will have their characteristic pink color. Furthermore, salix prefers moist soil, but make sure its roots are not constantly under water. Do not put the little tree in full sun, as this may burn its beautiful leaves.

Sizethe plants have a height of 90-110cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
