The calathea crocata tassmania is a tirelessly flowering houseplant with beautiful leaves. The curled leafs are green at the top. Furthermore, the houseplant has beautiful orange flowers that rise above the plant. These orange flowers are often compared to flames, and therefore the plant's nickname is 'eternal flame'. Besides its beautiful looks, the calathea crocata also has an air-purifying effect!
Careoriginally, the calathea crocata tassmania comes from the amazon rainforest where the plant grows under the shelter of other trees. Therefore, the plant needs little light when placed in the house. Give the crocata a sip of water once a week and keep the soil moist, after which the plant will bud again. After 2 to 3 months the eternal flame has finished flowering. What has flowered out can be cut off. New leaves will appear in the plant and if they are large enough then the plant will begin to flower again with new flower buds. The calathea crocata is not toxic to pets!
Sizethe plant has a height of 40-50cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 14cm.
