Caryopteris x clandonensis 'sterling silver' is a captivating deciduous shrub known for its striking silvery foliage and vibrant late-season blooms. Its elongated, silver-grey leaves provide an elegant, metallic contrast to other plants in the garden, adding texture and a soft, almost shimmering effect from march through to november. From august to october, 'sterling silver' produces clusters of small, aromatic, lavender-blue flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Growing to a height and spread of around 1m, it is an ideal choice for sunny borders, mixed plantings, or as a specimen plant in a container. A low maintenance addition to your garden, it thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soil and is drought-tolerant once established.
