This hardy bulbous perennial has been awarded the rhs award of garden merit for outstanding garden performance. Beautifully fragranced narcissi make wonderful cut flowers lasting up to a week in the vase. Allow cut stems to condition in water overnight if adding to other blooms as their stems leak a sap which can shorten the vase-life of other flowers. Plant your bulbs in autumn, in a sunny spot in any well-drained soil at a depth of 15cm for a glorious display next spring.
