With taller stems in exciting new colours betonica officinalis ‘summer grapes’ offers unusual blooms which make wonderful cut flowers as well as a perfect inclusion in your garden. As a member of the mint family, ‘summer grapes’ has the characteristic aromatic, wrinkled foliage which makes attractive, deer-resistant groundcover. Its flower stems are strong, straight, and leafless. The flowers themselves are a magnet to pollinators, likely to buzz with life during their blooming period of june to august.
