Artemisia schmidtiana ‘nana’ is a japanese wormwood variety with lovely silky leaves complimented by gentle camphor scent. Sure to brighten your garden with a scintillating display of hairy, silver-green foliage - the fine, lacey leaves grow in a rounded, compact mound. In uk climates, this plant is semi-evergreen so your artemisia may die back in november and re-emerge the following february. This dwarf variety makes an intriguing addition to the front of your border or a patio container as well as being beneficial groundcover under large shrubs and adding interest to a rockery or stone wall. From june to august, racemes of small, yellow blooms may occasionally appear on your artemisia, but it is the shimmering foliage which remains the star attraction. A hardy, drought tolerant, herbaceous perennial which reaches a height of 15cm with a spread of 30cm.
